Holiday lets

In all cases SAVANNAH HOLIDAY LETTINGS act only on a referral basis on behalf of the owner. Any contract entered into is therefore between the owner of the property and you the hirer.

SAVANNAH HOLIDAY LETTINGS cannot be held responsible for the actions of either party or any consequences resulting there from.

Any contract to hire a holiday home as listed on our web site will incorporate the following conditions:-

1, NUMBER OF PERSONS

The maximum number of persons the property sleeps is shown on the property description other than babies in cots etc extra people cannot be catered for. The holiday owner reserves the right to terminate any agreement without refund and without notice if this point is breached.

2. OTHER EXTRAS

Items not included at each holiday home are specified by the owner and arrangements are to be made to cover these matters with the owner i.e. heating.

3. PETS

Pets are allowed only where specified and again only when confirmed with the owner. Charges for pets are usually ?25.00 per week. When the booking is made you must advise the owner of the size, age and type of the pet you are proposing to bring. Pets are not allowed on the beds or any of the furniture and must not be left unattended at any time. At the end of the holiday the garden must be checked and cleaned of all pet fouling.

4. BALANCE HIRE CHARGE OUTSTANDING

Your acceptance of the owner’s terms and conditions to hire the property makes you responsible for the full hire charge applicable to the booking. All payments must be paid to the owner directly and their own cancellation policy will apply.

5. BOOKING CANCELLATION

Should you cancel the holiday you will remain responsible for the full costs of the amounts due. Therefore should you need to cancel please notify the owner immediately. Savannah Holiday Lettings will endeavour to re-let your holiday booking and if successful an administration fee of ?50 + Vat will be charged. You may then find that the owner may refund all/part of the monies paid.

6. CANCELLATION INSURANCE

We do not offer cancellation insurance and suggest you make private arrangements for this cover, It the holiday owner is prevented by circumstance beyond their control from making the holiday home available and can’t provide a suitable alternative then a full refund will be paid.

7. DEPARTURE

All keys must be returned to the owner by 10am on the day of departure and the property must be left in a clean condition. NOTE Property owners will have the right to charge a fee for late delivery of the keys on the day of departure and for a property that has been left un-cleaned,

8. MINORS

Bookings will only be accepted from persons over the age of 18.

9. METHODS OF BOOKING & PAYMENT

All bookings are to be made to the owner direct and they will advise on the preferred method of payment. Savannah will forward your enquiry to the owner on receipt for them to contact you direct.

10. DESCRIPTIONS

All property descriptions are given in good faith, but no warranties are given by Savannah Holiday Lettings as agents or otherwise regarding the information provided.

11. DISCLAIMER

The holiday owner or Savannah Holiday Lettings do not accept any liability for loss, damage, injury, or accident which the hirer or any of his party may incur or experience. Neither the agent nor the owner can accept liability for any disruption or inconvenience which might affect your holiday where such failer is not reasonably the fault of the agent or owner.

12. OCCUPATION

It is hereby agreed that the purpose of this letting is to confer on the hirer the right to occupy the premises for a holiday only during the term reserved and no other rights of occupation.

13. APPLIANCES

Such as washing machines, TVs etc can’t be guaranteed against breakdown during your stay bur everything will be done to repair or replace the item as soon as possible.

14. Please ensure you report all breakages which occur during the holiday to the owner direct. The owner may charge a fee for the damaged item.

15. SECURITY

Windows and doors must be kept locked at all times when the property is not occupied.

16. REFUNDS

We regret that no refund can be made for a holiday that has been taken.

17. SHORT BREAKS

Where available these will be charges as a minimum of 4 days.

18. COMPLAINTS

All complaints regarding the holiday let are to be directed to the property owner. Savannah Holiday lettings cannot be held responsible for any inadequacies in any of the properties. Property descriptions and all features given both verbally and written are provided in good faith and are believed to be correct, but interpretation thereof can be subjective and as such the accuracy cannot be guaranteed..

19. SMOKING POLICY

Please regard all properties as no smoking properties.

20. FORCE MAJEURE

The Agent or Owner cannot accept responsibility or liability for any alterations, delay or cancellation or any other loss or damage caused by war, civil strife, terrorist action, industrial disputes, fire, sickness, bad weather, epidemics, acts of any government or public authority, changes imposed by re-scheduling of airlines or any other event outside our control.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

All payments for the deposit and the remaining balance are to be made direct with the property owner. The property owner will provide details of how these payments are to be made and the timing of them.

OTHER CHARGES

Should your chosen property not provide linen etc as a standard feature then the owner will advise you on the additional costs should you not wish to bring your own linen.

Each property owner will specify if a pet is allowable at the property these will normally be charged at a rate of ?25.00 per week but we strongly suggest you discuss this with the holiday owner to ensure there is no increased fee at their particular property.

All charges for use of heating systems will vary depending on the property and the owner concerned – please ensure you check these additional costs with the owner prior to confirming your booking.

If personal belongings are left behind at the property the owner will charge a minimum of ?10 for the postage to return the item. Any item not claimed or advised to the owner will be taken to the local charity shop after 4 weeks.

KEYS & ACCESS

Should keys be late getting returned to the owner at the end of the holiday then there will be a charge. Additionally there may also be an additional charge should the keys need to be taken to an alternative place for collection due to late arrival. Generally departure will be 10am on the last day of the holiday and keys can be collected from 3pm.

On the odd occasion the owner may be delayed in getting the keys to you due to emergency repair work – we hope this is not the case on your visit.
